Cottage Camp – Grand Lake, CO: The Grand Lake Area Historical Society is spearheading the Cottage Camp project. The Smith-Eslick family built what they called the Cottage Court, later referred to as Eslick’s Cottage Camp and Eslick’s Cabins. This was an overnight accommodation for automobile travelers, i.e. an early “motel” in today’s terms. This also explains the four cabins separated by open “car ports,” all joined by a common roof. History experts from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Colorado Historical Society believe that the Cottage Court is probably the oldest original motel structure in the United States.

Heritage Park Depot Foundation – Kremmling, CO: The Grand County Historical Association is working on the depot foundation for Heritage Park.

Railroad Interpretive Center – Granby, CO: The Moffat Road Railroad Museum is working on the equipment restoration for the Interpretive Center. The museum currently has three pieces of railroad equipment located at the Railroad Interpretive Park next to the Kaibab Park ball fields in Granby, Colorado. The Moffat Road Railroad Museum Interpretive Center includes a 1905 Passenger Car, a 1915 era railroad hand-cart shed from Hot Sulphur Springs, and a 1923 all wood, red UP caboose.
