Jessie Nelson Art Exhibit

For the month of January you can find the beautiful paintings by Jessie Nelson on display at Cozens Ranch Museum.

Jessie Nelson is a self-taught acrylic painter based in Winter Park, Colorado. She has called the beautiful mountain town home for almost thirteen years. Her artwork focuses on landscapes, wildlife, and our natural surroundings. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast- enamored with horseback riding and training, hiking, fishing, hunting, and snowboarding, amongst other activities. Her passions for the wild landscapes of Colorado and beauty of the ranching lifestyle tie in closely with the themes of her artwork. 

In hopes to convey to her audience the allure of the natural and ranching world around us, her paintings have an integral theme of wonder and appreciation for everything outdoors – from landscapes to flora and fauna – macro to micro.

Jessie’s work will be on display and available for purchase during normal museum hours; Thursday – Monday from 10am to 4pm at Cozens Ranch Museum in Fraser. So come by today and check it out!
