SUMMARY:The Legacy of Colorado's Ski Train with Brad Swartzwelter
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we welcome Brad Swartzwelter\, retired conductor of the legendary Colorado Ski Train\, for an inside look at one of the state’s most iconic rail experiences. Since its first run in 1940\, the Ski Train\, now known as the Winter Park Express\, has carried generations of skiers through the mountains\, weathering decades of change\, closures\, and comebacks. \nThrough firsthand stories and historic insight\, Brad will take us beyond the tracks to explore the train’s early days\, its rise in popularity\, and the legacy it continues to hold today. With Winter Park right in our backyard at Cozens Ranch\, and a piece of the Rio Grande Ski Train preserved at Pioneer Village\, this story is closer to home than you might think. \nApril 18th\n5pm\nFREE\nSuggested Donation $5
