June 6, 2026 marks 50 years of history.

Denver native Emily Warner broke barriers in 1973 as the first female pilot hired by a U.S. commercial airline; Frontier Airlines. Three years later, she became the first female airline captain in U.S. aviation history.

Her impact reached right here in Grand County, helping establish Rocky Mountain Airways and expanding access to air travel in the region.

Join us as we celebrate a pioneer who changed aviation forever.
